I find it interesting that the end of Mr. Bell’s quote has been forgotten considering how important it is to the context.
I truly believe our life is a gift of doorways that God opens to us. I can look back and see the gifts of timing that God has placed in my life over the seasons.
Yet I wonder how many I’ve missed.
I wonder how many times and ways he has tried to direct me to the door that has opened in front of me these last few months; the moments and people that have walked into my life, sat across from me; posts I have seen; and random conversations all leading to the same place.
I’ve had a dream to create a community for a long time. I’ve allowed other responsibilities to take priority – or allow for an excuse.
I believe God will find a way to grow you into who you are meant to be. Some of us are stubborn enough that it may be through hard and desperate measures that we finally see the obvious path before us.
I see the door and I’m finally choosing to walk – no run – through it. And, I want to help others recognize and open their doors too.
